For fifty years, the Shreveport-Bossier Rescue Mission has served as a beacon to the homeless and hurting, giving help and hope. The Rescue Mission is a Christian organization dedicated to helping those we serve become independent productive citizens of the community. The Mission provides temporary emergency relief care such as food, clothing and household goods to men, women and children, and shelter, long term counseling, spiritual guidance and addictive disease rehabilitation for homeless men.
